Kostick and Company offers a complete range of accounting services for your business needs. Additionally, we offer a number of special services not offered by most CPA firms.

Tax returns

• We prepare all forms of corporate tax returns; 1120, 1120S, 990, 990T. Most of this work comes from clients who we work with on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• On a quarterly basis, we prepare all payroll tax returns for companies including Federal Form 941, any state payroll tax returns and provide the amount necessary to be in compliance with the Federal Unemployment tax deposit.
• Annually we prepare the Annual payroll tax returns and information including but not limited to:
  • Federal Form 940
  • Form W-3 and related W-2s
  • Form 1096 and related 1099s
  • All annual state tax forms

Financial Statements

• On a monthly (or quarterly basis) we prepare a compiled financial statement for each business client. This statement is then personally reviewed with the client.
• We perform reviews of financial statements. A review is more comprehensive than a compilation, but significantly less extensive than an audit. It is usually performed because of a bank requirement.
• We have and can perform audits. The audits are performed due to regulatory requirements or because of financial requirements of lending institutions.

Regulatory Audits

• We interface with Worker's Compensation auditors on behalf of clients when they perform audits.
• We will represent a client when the Internal Revenue Service is auditing either a business or individual. In this manner we act in the client's stead and minimize the risk of a client saying or doing something that will get the client in trouble. In addtion, we will help structure the information that is provided to the auditors to minimize the client's exposure to additional taxes, as well as penalties and interest.
• If a client has to pay additional taxes due to an audit, we attempt to eliminate (or at a minimum) minimize the penalty amount and interest.
• If other regulatory agencies audit a client, we represent the client in front of the agency as well, using the same techniques as used for the Internal Revenue Service. These agencies include, but are not limited to:
  • Sales tax audits
  • Unemployment Compensation Audits
