Business valuations

• Elliot D. Kostick has received the designation Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
• This designation indicates that Mr. Kostick has taken various specialty classes in business valuations and passed a rigorous test.
• These valuations are performed generally for Estate Planning and Litigation support purposes.

Purchase Investigations

• Our firm will help a client to determine the veracity and validity of the information submitted by a company selling its business to out client.
• The client, in partnership with our firm, determines the level of work performed to give him or her the level of comfort s/he feels is necessary.
• The level of work to be performed is constantly monitored and discussed with the client as the review continues to insure that the client is kept fully apprised of the amount of work involved.
• Our goal is to provide the client with a comfort level to help the person make an informed decision as to the purchase price of the entity.

Guardianship Accounting

• In Florida, as in most states, the courts oversee the monies of two (2) types of individuals who are called wards:
  • Minors who receive settlements
  • Individuals who are no longer capable of handling their own affairs.
• In both cases, someone is assigned to handle the funds belonging to those people.
• The courts require that an annual report be submitted reflecting the financial activity of the wards.
• We prepare these special reports, which can be very complicated.
